Due to the volume of requests received, Quickpolls must be scheduled in advance and coordinated appropriately so that the same audience is not polled continually, diminishing response.
The individual requesting a QuickPoll is responsible for drafting the issue statement, background and questions to be asked. They may be up to one page in length and must allow for the heading, issue statement and brief background information outlining why the poll is being conducted.
Each QuickPoll draft should be limited to 6-8 questions with an emphasis on close-ended responses (yes/no, multiple choice, etc.). This allows for easy response and fast tabulation of results that can be returned quickly to participating companies.
The draft will be reviewed and edited as necessary by the DSA staff. If the proposed topic is too narrow or not operationally-oriented, DSA reserves the right to decline the QuickPoll request.
The QuickPoll requester is also responsible for identifying the target audience to receive the questionnaire. Potential audience breakdowns include: party plan companies, multilevel/network marketing companies, companies by size, companies by product line, and many other options. If you are requesting a group not previously polled, additional setup time will be required.
On average, it takes 10 working days to complete a QuickPoll once the questionnaire has been drafted.
Results of QuickPolls are shared with participants immediately and at no charge. The findings are always reported in the aggregate or on average as individual company responses are never revealed. DSA reserves the right to compile and market QuickPoll results beyond the participating companies at a future date.
