Washington, D.C. (Oct. 2, 2014) – The Direct Selling Association (DSA) today announced that it is helping veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses find employment opportunities via the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes program.
“We appreciate the daily sacrifices that veterans and military spouses make on behalf of this country,” said DSA President Joseph Mariano. “Direct selling offers those who have served and spouses of those still on active duty an opportunity to run their own business and set their own hours. The flexibility and entrepreneurial opportunity of this dynamic sales channel is a great match for many veterans and military families.”
DSA is also encouraging its member companies to show their support for veterans and their families by partnering with Hiring Our Heroes, participating in regional career fairs, and providing paths to opportunity for military spouses.
