The Direct Selling Association was honored to welcome House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Congressional Direct Selling Caucus Co-Chair Marc Veasey (D-TX) at our Annual Meeting, Conversion Immersion in Boca Raton Florida on June 5-7. Leader McCarthy sat down at a private forum with CEOs and Rep. Veasey recorded a video message for attendees.

“Direct selling creates more entrepreneurs than any business in the world. It also provides greater opportunities to many first generation Americans.” said Leader McCarthy.

Support of the direct selling business model is a bi-partisan issue that has an economic impact on every Congressional district. That is why I am supportive of efforts to ensure direct sellers have the flexibility to continue engaging with this dynamic retail channel and preserve core consumer protections in their businesses.” said Rep. Veasey. The Association looks forward to working with Reps. McCarthy and Veasey on issues impacting the direct selling business model.
