DSA Social Media Guidelines will top an agenda including content creation, community

(WASHINGTON D.C.) – On May 8, 2023, the Direct Selling Association (DSA) hosts its quarterly Social Media Day.

After two successful Social Media Day events, the DSA is taking this virtual workshop to the next level. Member companies can provide access to DSA’s May 8 Social Media Day to their independent distributors as a training opportunity.

DSA’s social media guidelines and best practices are a continuing focus of these quarterly events. The DSA Social Media Guidelines Digital Handbook was released in January as a resource for DSA members and an advocacy tool. Created for companies and independent contractors who sell online, following these guidelines ensures social media etiquette standards adhere to consumer protections and regulatory compliance.

Topics include digital persuasion and selling smarter, using strategic social selling to build trust, and understanding the latest approaches for building and growing direct selling businesses on social media. This virtual DSA event is hosted and produced by Scott Kramer, social media innovator and CEO of Multibrain.

Featured speakers are Dr. Sharmin Attaran, professor of marketing at Bryant University, Frazer Brookes, founder of Network Marketing Ninja and bestselling author of I Dare You and I Double Dare You, Dr. Stefanie Boyer, professor of marketing at Bryant University and co-founder of RNMKRS, Samantha Hind, founder and director of Auxanō Marketing, and Erin King, digital persuasion expert, best-selling author and chief digital officer of Strikepoint Media.
